CEO/Founder
Dr. Jorge Chavarin was born and raised in East Los Angeles, California. In 1988, Jorge joined the United States Marine Corps. During his career, he served in a myriad of leadership positions and received numerous awards for acts or services accomplished or performed in a manner above those performing similar services. After 24 years of active service, to include two combat tours to Iraq, First Sergeant Chavarin retired from active duty.
Dr. Chavarin holds the following degrees; Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and a Master’s of Business Administration and Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University (Part of the Chapman University System). In addition, he holds an Executive Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Leadership from Brandman University, 21st Century Leadership Certification from the Center of Nonprofit Management, and is certified by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) to teach business and leadership courses at the university level.
Dr. Chavarin began his academic career teaching business-related courses for Brandman University in 2012, served as a Professional Expert/ Business Consultant for San Bernardino Community College District, and leveraged his business acumen throughout the United Arab Emirates as the International Director of Training and Development for a private firm. In addition, he performed the duties of Department Chair for the Graduate School of Business and Management and Department Chair for the College of Arts and Sciences for Argosy University.
In 2019, Dr. Chavarin founded JO Chavarin Consulting Group, a firm that provides consulting and professional development services to Small Businesses. In addition, he serves as the Executive Director for the Veterans Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit 501c that provides resources and services to Veterans , Veteran-Owned Businesses and Small Businesses.
